Die Wilde Jagd es un dúo alemán formado por Ralf y Sebastian.
Ralf Beck es músico y productor, con proyectos como Unit 4 o Nalin & Kane, y reside en Düsseldorf donde tiene su estudio, base de Die Wilde..
Sebastian Lee Philipp, músico y DJ, que ha compuesto música para teatro y forma parte del también dúo Noblesse Oblige, vive en Berlin.
Tras un encuentro en el Salon des Amateurs de Düsseldorf, con posterior visita al estudio de Ralf, se estableció entre ellos una conexión que tomó forma en Die Wilde Jagd, un larga duración editado en 2015 por el sello independiente de Hamburgo Bureau B, hermano pequeño de Tapete Records.
Ese mismo año, también en Bureau B, fué publicado el EP Morgenrot, con remixes estelares de Ivan Smagghe, Etienne Jaumet y Stallions.
Acaban de volver de gira por festivales de verano y nos han regalado este fantástico mix que es, según sus palabras, algo entre un "viaje" y "simplemente aquello que suena bien", y nos han contado que próximamente seguirán haciendo directos a la vez que preparan nuevo material de estudio.
Recientemente han lanzado un bombazo llamado Drachenfels, que es parte del nuevo recopilatorio de Correspondant, y han hecho un remix del dúo germano-israelí The Kloom para Malka Tuti.
Die Wilde Jagd forman parte de esas propuestas que diluyen la frontera entre electrónica y no electrónica, combinando sonidos sintéticos con instrumentos orgánicos y, sobre todo, con un espíritu visceral y libre que recuerda a la música experimental y la psicodelia de los 70s; no es de extrañar que, como nos dicen, sus referentes sean principalmente animales.

A meeting in Salon des Amateurs in Düsseldorf led to a spontaneous visit to Ralf's studio and from this connection result Die Wilde Jagd, an LP published in 2015 by the independent label from Hamburg Bureau B, little brother of Tapete Records.
Same year,
also in Bureau B, it was released the Morgenrot EP, including stellar
remixes by Ivan Smagghe, Etienne Jaumet and Stallions.
Just arrived from touring summer festivals, they had given to us this awesome mix, that is, in his words; something between an excursion and “just do what sounds good”, and told us that more Live show will follow later this year in between they're working on new material in the studio.
Recently he launched an smashing track called Drachenfels, that's on new Correspondant compilation, and they remixed the German-Isralei duo The Kloom for Malka Tuti.
Die Wilde Jagd is this kind of projects that dissolves walls between electronic and non-electronic music, combining synthetic sounds with organic instruments and a visceral and total free spirit that remember us to experimental music and psychedelia from the 70's; It is not surprising that, as they say, their referents are mostly animals.

"Ohrwurm" (gusano del oído) es una palabra alemana utilizada de forma coloquial para referirse a una melodía pegadiza que no puedes sacar fácilmente de tu cabeza, y así es como hemos querido llamar a esta nueva selección que discurre por el territorio del ambient, el ruidismo y la música experimental.

"Ohrwurm" (Ear worm) is a german word used to refer to a catchy tune that stays for a long in your head as a loop, and so we called this new mix around ambient, noise and experimental music.
